To discover new Weather and Phenomena, there is no need to make an investigation with Maps or Quests. If you meet certain conditions in particular locations and at specific periods, you always have a chance to see the spectacular phenomenon of nature!

Once you discover the Weather or Phenomenon, you should report it to Robert Boyle at Oxford College so that you will receive a special reward.
